Windscreens on mine trucks and earthmovers do not replace themselves. An Auto Glazier with solid experience is wanted to work across Western Australia's mining and industrial sectors from a Kalgoorlie base, with residential or FIFO arrangements.
The job is mobile. You will drive to customer sites, look at what each job needs, cut and fit glass, and safely remove damaged screens on light vehicles, commercial trucks, heavy machinery and mining equipment. You plan your own day, keep your tools and work vehicle in order and follow each site's safety rules. Applicants requiring sponsorship may be eligible for consideration.

Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to deliver mobile glazing services
- Remove damaged windscreens safely and fit replacement automotive glass
- Carry out glazing on light vehicles, commercial trucks, heavy machinery and mining equipment
- Cut and prepare glass ready for fitting
- Assess what each glazing job needs before starting
- Deliver high-quality workmanship on every job
- Communicate clearly with customers and teammates
- Organise your own day with a high level of independence, prioritising jobs to suit customer and operational needs
- Look after tools, equipment and the work vehicle
- Follow all relevant safety and site procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years' relevant automotive glazing experience
- Experience with light vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
- Certificate III in Automotive Glazing Technology
- Competent at cutting automotive glass
- A high level of attention to detail and strong time management
- Able to work autonomously and also effectively within a team
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- A reliable, trustworthy approach
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Willing to take part in ongoing drug and alcohol screening
- ADAS calibration experience advantageous
- Working at Heights, EWP and Forklift tickets advantageous
