Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional barbering to a consistent standard
- Do men's cuts, skin fades, taper fades, beard trims, styling and grooming
- Read each client's needs and suggest styles that suit them
- Give every client a professional, welcoming visit and build lasting relationships through reliable service
- Prepare, clean and look after tools, equipment and your station
- Follow hygiene, health and safety rules at work
- Keep your own presentation sharp
- Support fellow barbers and the wider team
- Join in training, coaching and skills development, bringing new techniques and trends into daily work
- Work towards agreed performance and service targets
- Share ideas that make the client experience better
- Grow your leadership and take on more responsibility when the time is right, helping keep the workplace positive and respectful
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional barber
- Hands-on experience in a commercial barbershop that you can demonstrate, backed by a genuine and verifiable history
- Strong technical skill in men's cuts, fades, styling and beard grooming
- Solid understanding of professional barbering standards and client service
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and an eye for detail
- A positive, team-first attitude
- A reliable, responsible work style
- Willing to keep training and developing your skills, adapting to different client preferences and current trends
