Coffee is taken seriously at this busy hospitality spot in Dunedin, New Zealand. It needs an experienced Barista who can pull great shots at speed and still have a smile for the next customer in the queue.
Your shift will centre on espresso drinks and other hot beverages made to the café's recipes, plus some help with café food. Between rushes you will clean the machine and grinders, top up supplies, keep the counter looking sharp and help open or close. Eligible candidates may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Make espresso-based coffee to café recipes and presentation standards, along with a range of other hot drinks
- Operate espresso machines, grinders and other beverage equipment
- Keep the flow of orders moving during busy times
- Serve customers in a warm, professional way, taking orders and processing payments accurately
- Help prepare and present café food
- Keep workstations clean and tidy, and clean and maintain coffee equipment routinely
- Check drink supplies and help with stock control
- Help with opening and closing each day and keep service areas presentable
- Work safely and follow food hygiene standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven hands-on barista experience
- Strong technical knowledge of coffee preparation
- Able to keep quality and consistency high during busy periods, working quickly without cutting corners
- Previous hospitality or customer-facing service experience
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- A reliable, committed attitude to work
- A high standard of cleanliness and personal presentation
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexible for rostered shifts and weekend work
