Behavioural Support Worker

Visa sponsorship

Healthcare · Whanganui, New Zealand · Full-Time · $24.68 - $30.13/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Some people need steady, patient support to get through the day. In Whanganui, Behavioural Support Workers are wanted for people who live with complex behavioural and medical needs. You help them through strong emotions and health difficulties, keep things safe and encourage positive behaviour. Over time, you also help each person do more for themselves in daily life.

You do not need earlier work in the health and disability sector. What counts is a positive attitude and a real wish to make support work your career. The employer holds Immigration New Zealand accreditation, so it can sponsor overseas workers on the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), a work visa tied to the employer who hires you.

For this role, a good CV names any care or community work, the shifts you can cover and your driver licence. Take a little time to put your support work experience into a clear CV with Build AI CV.
