For more than 30 years, one of the biggest independent auto glass businesses in Australia has looked after insurers, fleets, tradespeople and retail buyers nationwide. It now wants a driven, hands-on Branch Manager to run its established Alice Springs branch in the Northern Territory.
The branch is yours to run, with a close crew of three: two qualified fitters and a very experienced leading hand. Your days mix running the business side, leading people and looking after customers, and senior managers stay on hand to back you. Applicants from car workshops, shop management, trade or service jobs are all welcome. The company is an approved employer under the Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT DAMA), and qualified visa holders already in Australia are actively encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Organise the branch's daily workflow, watch its financial results against budget and keep things running efficiently
- Set rosters, coach staff, keep the workshop culture positive and handle performance
- Look after inventory and stock control, develop local supplier ties and make sure products are on hand
- Win more retail, fleet, insurance and trade business while serving customers well on the phone and face to face
- Hold strict WHS standards, keep the store secure and records accurate, and pitch in on basic automotive glass fitting or repairs when it is busy (training given on the job)
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven track record as a Branch Manager, Workshop Manager, Service Manager, Operations Manager or Retail Manager
- Strong skills in communication, managing a team, business awareness and computers
- A current valid driver's licence (mandatory)
- For sponsored candidates: nomination under Retail Manager (General), ANZSCO 142111, together with relevant formal qualifications, suitable management experience, English proficiency and eligibility for NT DAMA
