Kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and one-off cabinetry for homes and businesses leave the floor of this Brisbane manufacturer every week. It has a permanent full-time place in its production team for a qualified cabinet maker.
You will take technical drawings and turn them into finished work: measuring and preparing panels, running the CNC router, panel and beam saws and the edge bander, then assembling and checking each piece. Some jobs will need you on site to help with installation. If you have built joinery in a Gulf or Malaysian workshop, much of this will feel familiar.

Key Responsibilities
- Build custom cabinetry and joinery to each project's specifications
- Make kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and bespoke cabinets
- Read technical drawings, plans and production paperwork
- Measure and prepare materials accurately
- Run CNC routers, panel saws, beam saws, edge banders and other automated woodworking machines
- Assemble cabinet and joinery parts with precision
- Check quality throughout production, fix manufacturing issues and make sure finished pieces look right
- Help install work on site when needed
- Keep tools, machines and your area in good order and follow health and safety rules
- Work well with production and installation teams and finish jobs efficiently without losing quality
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant Cabinet Making trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on cabinet making experience
- Proven experience making custom cabinetry in residential and/or commercial joinery manufacturing
- Practical experience running CNC machinery
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of cabinet construction and manufacturing processes
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with quality workmanship every time
- Reliable, responsible and professional, and able to work well in a team
- Experience with premium residential or commercial joinery is advantageous
- Overseas applicants must meet applicable Australian migration requirements
