Café Chef

Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $33/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Breakfast service is a race against the clock, and every plate still has to land with the right seasoning and presentation. A growing café business in Sydney wants an experienced Café Chef who takes pride in daytime food and owns every dish that leaves the pass.
You will cook café and breakfast dishes with good ingredients, keep portions and plating consistent, help with stock and waste, and support newer cooks. There is room to pitch specials, shape the menu and improve kitchen systems, and capable people may grow into senior chef and leadership roles as the business expands. Early starts, weekends and public holidays are part of the roster. The role is open only to applicants already based in Australia, living in Sydney. Sponsorship is available for an eligible and suitably qualified candidate.
Café owners look for speed and consistency on a CV. Mention the brunch menus you have cooked, any baking or pastry work and how busy your past kitchens were, then plate up a breakfast-ready café chef CV on Build AI CV.
