Key Responsibilities
- Build residential carpentry to a high professional standard on new homes and renovations
- Frame walls and roofs, handle structural timber and install components
- Complete detailed finishing and fit-out on premium homes
- Read construction plans and work from their measurements
- Measure, cut and fix materials with accuracy
- Own your allocated tasks and site activities, working quickly without losing quality
- Liaise with supervisors, builders and the other trades on site
- Spot routine carpentry problems on site and fix them
- Look after tools and equipment so they stay in good order
- Follow work health and safety procedures and keep the work area clean, tidy and safe
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Carpenter, with genuine residential carpentry work that can be verified
- A relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience
- A clear employment history that shows relevant trade experience, plus employment or qualification evidence on request
- Current White Card
- Valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
- Your own standard carpentry tools
- Solid practical knowledge of residential construction
- Able to read plans and follow technical instructions
- Steady attention to detail and quality
- Able to work on your own with minimal supervision

- Communicates clearly and works well in a team
