Carpet & Flooring Installer
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Whether you already run your own flooring jobs or want to learn the trade from scratch, this Christchurch business is worth a look. An established flooring company is growing and needs experienced carpet and flooring installers, senior installers who can lead jobs, and motivated newcomers. Junior installers, current apprentices and people hoping to start an apprenticeship are welcome, and more than one person may be hired.
The work covers residential and light commercial installs across Christchurch and nearby areas. Roles are permanent and full-time, at least 37.5 hours a week and usually 40–42, mostly Monday to Friday. Seniors take a job from arrival on site to completion and guide another installer or a small crew; trainees work beside experienced installers. AEWV applicants are welcome, including those who need the employer's sponsorship support to apply, and employment depends on obtaining the right New Zealand work rights.
