Fresh pasta rolled by hand, Roman dishes cooked the old way and produce picked with care: that is the menu this Brisbane restaurant serves every lunch and dinner. It now wants one more qualified chef for its full-time team.
The owners care about steady plates more than flashy ones. You will cook from set recipes, keep portions and plating the same from the first table to the last, and get your mise en place done before the doors open. A background in a serious restaurant or hotel kitchen will help you settle in quickly, and there is an experienced brigade around you to learn from. Bangladeshi chefs who have worked Italian sections in Gulf hotels may find this a natural next move.
On your CV, name the pasta you make from scratch, the classical techniques you use every day and the kitchens where you ran a section. You can set out your Italian-kitchen chef CV with Build AI CV before you apply.
