You will need a solid commercial background, steady quality when it is busy and a professional, team-minded attitude. Expect weekends, early starts and late finishes when the roster needs them. Sponsorship is available for eligible and suitably experienced candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook meals to the kitchen's set standards, following recipes while keeping quality and consistency
- Do daily prep and mise en place, getting lunch and dinner services ready
- Help with menu and recipe development when needed
- Juggle several cooking tasks in busy service
- Check quality, presentation and portions
- Keep your station organised, clean and hygienic, applying food safety and hygiene procedures
- Work closely with the kitchen team through service
- Finish prep and cooking on time
- Adapt as service needs and kitchen priorities change
- Perform consistently in a high-volume kitchen
- Help with general kitchen tasks as required
- Add to a positive, professional and cooperative workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Cook or Chef, including commercial kitchen work
- Experience in busy, high-volume hospitality settings
- Able to keep food quality consistent under pressure
- Sound knowledge of cooking methods and food prep
- Able to follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately
- Strong organisation and time management
- A reliable, professional approach to your responsibilities
- Able to communicate and work well with a kitchen team
- A strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for food and hospitality
- Available for weekends, early mornings and late-night shifts when required
- Previous multi-venue hospitality experience is advantageous
- Relevant culinary qualifications and/or substantial experience in the industry
- Able to meet applicable Australian employment and visa requirements
- Willing to take part in the required candidate verification and assessment process
