Hospitality · Nelson, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
An established hospitality group in Nelson is hiring a Chef who knows Asian cooking well and can turn out the same quality dish after dish in a busy commercial kitchen.
Most days start with planning prep, making sauces and setting up components before service. You will cook Asian dishes to set recipes, watch portions and presentation, look after special diets and order supplies when stock runs low. The team also relies on its chefs to show newer staff the right methods and keep the kitchen clean and orderly. Cooks from Bangladesh with Malaysian restaurant experience will find the work familiar. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
List your wok, curry and noodle work, the kitchens where you ran a section and your food safety training. Get a Nelson Asian-cuisine chef CV ready on Build AI CV so it is waiting when you apply.
