A busy commercial kitchen in Western Australia needs a seasoned Chef for a full-time place on its team. Bangladeshi cooks who have handled hotel or restaurant volume in the Gulf will know the pace well.
Your days will be about cooking a wide range of dishes and plating them the same way every time, whether you start from fresh, frozen or prepared ingredients. You will help roll out seasonal menu changes, rotate and track stock so little goes to waste, keep the kitchen clean and food-safe, and pass on skills to newer staff. Eligible candidates can be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and plate a wide range of dishes to a high standard, following menu requirements
- Keep food quality and presentation consistent from plate to plate
- Help the kitchen run efficiently through every service
- Work with fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients
- Help put seasonal menu changes in place
- Check and rotate stock properly, keeping waste low and using ingredients efficiently
- Keep the kitchen clean and meet food safety standards
- Help train and develop kitchen staff and work well with the wider kitchen and hospitality team
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of five years' relevant experience in commercial kitchens
- Proven experience in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Diploma in Hospitality or a relevant equivalent qualification
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Able to stay calm and productive through busy services, with good communication skills
- Available for full-time hospitality work
