Can you prove you deliver when the dockets keep coming? A Western Australian hospitality employer is looking for an experienced Chef with a real commercial background for a high-volume kitchen.
Shifts mean prep first, then cooking to house recipes, running several dishes together in the peak and keeping each plate looking right. You will also store and rotate stock, keep waste down, keep your section clean and talk clearly with the floor team. This role is open to applicants already living in Australia, in Perth itself. Sponsorship is available for eligible high-performing candidates, and a qualifying period applies.

Key Responsibilities
- Get daily prep done and ingredients ready before service
- Cook dishes the way the house recipes and standards set out
- Hold food quality and plating steady across the whole service
- Run several dishes together when the high-volume kitchen hits its peak
- Store food properly and rotate stock
- Watch ingredient use and keep waste down
- Keep the kitchen clean and stick to food safety and hygiene rules
- Talk clearly with fellow cooks and floor staff
- Keep the kitchen tidy and productive and adjust as service needs change
Requirements & Eligibility
- Background working as a Cook or Chef
- Proven time in commercial kitchens; high-volume kitchen experience is strongly preferred
- Works quickly and well when services are busy
- Careful, consistent attention to detail
- Positive and dependable at work
- Communicates well and works as a team member
- Professional about food preparation and customer service
- Can meet workplace and food safety standards
- Living in Perth, Western Australia now is essential; visa holders already residing in Perth are welcome to apply
- Work experience that is authentic and can be verified
- Committed to finishing the required qualifying period
