Chef

Hospitality · Queenstown, New Zealand · Full-Time · $27/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Queenstown kitchens get busy, and this one needs a chef who can carry more than a station. You would own food quality from the delivery door to the pass, and help steer a team through each service.
The work covers the whole cycle, from checking stock as it arrives and storing it properly to prepping and cooking to recipe and adjusting dishes for dietary needs. You would also help with ordering, supplier contact, food cost and labour tracking and fresh menu ideas, and log results in the kitchen's digital systems.
Applicants are judged on proven senior experience, and those who perform well can grow into a wider role over time. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
On your CV, name the restaurants where you ran sections, the brigades you have led and any menus you helped write. You can put together a Queenstown senior chef CV with Build AI CV before you apply.
