A well-loved pub in central Shepparton is building up its kitchen for the busy summer months and wants experienced Chefs on a casual basis. The menu covers hearty pub favourites, fresh dishes made in-house, plus functions and events.
This is hands-on cooking for people who like pace and teamwork. If you prove yourself, the casual summer work could turn into a permanent full-time job and a long career in the town. The pub may also consider sponsorship after 6 months of employment, subject to eligibility, performance, business needs and approval.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook through busy lunch and dinner services
- Turn out consistent, good-quality food for the bistro
- Prepare dishes for functions and events
- Work hands-on with the rest of the kitchen crew
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- Trade qualifications are preferred
- Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards
- Happy to work a flexible roster, weekends included
- Reliable and positive, a good team member who is comfortable in a busy service setting
