Do you enjoy the rush of a full breakfast docket? A busy and growing kitchen in Orange, NSW wants a Cook who can carry a brunch service with very little hand-holding.

Each day starts with prep and mise en place, then moves into the classic Australian morning plates the venue is known for: eggs, sides and brunch favourites, all cooked to the house recipe. Weekends and public holidays are part of the roster. The team values people who stay calm, listen to feedback and keep their bench spotless. Eligible candidates may be considered for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cook breakfast and brunch plates, including Australian morning classics, exactly to the set recipes and specifications
  • Run your cooking station through service with little supervision
  • Finish daily prep and mise en place to the day's needs
  • Keep every plate consistent in quality, look and portion size
  • Work quickly with the rest of the kitchen crew when service gets busy, talking clearly throughout
  • Stick to the kitchen's procedures and systems
  • Keep the kitchen clean, food-safe and well organised
  • Take feedback on board and put improvements into practice
  • Help out on weekend and public holiday shifts as needed

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Proven experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
  • Hands-on experience cooking breakfast and brunch-style dishes
  • Able to work on your own with confidence during service
  • A proven ability to follow recipes and set kitchen systems, with a consistent approach to food preparation and quality
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A reliable, punctual and professional attitude to work
  • Able to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Willing to follow workplace procedures and take constructive feedback
  • Available on weekends and public holidays
  • Relevant work experience backed by suitable employment evidence
