Diesel Fitter

Visa sponsorship

Automotive · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $60/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Excavators, cranes and piling rigs keep a construction business moving, and when one breaks down on site the whole job waits. A well-established construction and engineering company in Brisbane, Queensland, needs a Diesel Fitter and heavy plant mechanic to keep its mixed fleet working.

This is more than workshop servicing. You will plan and carry out preventative maintenance, chase hydraulic and electrical faults, replace worn components and head out to field breakdowns, often working alone to get a machine back into service. Every repair is tested and recorded. Employer sponsorship is available for eligible overseas applicants.

If you have kept heavy plant running on Gulf construction sites, say so clearly on your CV. List the machine makes, hydraulic systems and breakdown work you know, then get your heavy plant diesel fitter CV ready on Build AI CV.
