Duty Manager

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Darwin, NT, Australia · Full-Time · $34/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Darwin's licensed venues run late and stay busy, and every shift needs one calm person in charge. A venue with a bar and restaurant, a gaming room and function spaces is hiring a Duty Manager for exactly that.

When you are rostered on, the venue is yours to run. You would unlock and lock up, put staff where they are needed, keep guests happy and the place looking sharp, and see that liquor and gaming laws and every safety rule are respected. Money matters too: tills, floats, the safe and the gaming room all have to balance before you hand over. Complaints, incidents and event nights come your way, and so do the shift reports. Visa sponsorship may be available to suitably qualified candidates, including those who may qualify through an NT DAMA (Designated Area Migration Agreement) pathway, subject to all required approvals.

Your CV should name each venue where you ran shifts, the size of team you led and any alcohol or gambling training you hold. write a Darwin venue duty manager CV on Build AI CV that puts that leadership first.
