Electrical Field Service Technician

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

When the equipment in a commercial kitchen fails in the middle of service, someone has to find out why, and fast. A technical service business in Sydney needs an electrician who enjoys exactly that kind of puzzle, working on catering and foodservice equipment at customer sites.

This is not a routine install job. Your days mix call-outs and scheduled servicing with diagnostics, testing, repairs and commissioning of new equipment, plus phone and email help for customers and other technicians. You will also deal with manufacturers and suppliers, order parts and keep good records. For eligible and suitably qualified applicants, visa sponsorship is available. It is a full-time role that builds specialist Australian experience.

For this job, a CV should tell your fault-finding stories: the equipment, the fault and the fix. Add your trade papers, licences and any gas or forklift tickets, then build a catering-equipment electrician CV on Build AI CV.

  • Service and repair the electrical side of commercial catering and foodservice equipment
