Industrial plant only earns its keep when it runs. In Kalgoorlie, a leading industrial operation wants an Electrical Technician who owns maintenance work and puts safety first.
Your shifts would cover preventative programmes, corrective jobs and fault-finding on electrical systems and plant equipment, then the repairs that get things running again. You would work with maintenance and production staff to reduce downtime, look for reliability gains and help find practical, cost-effective fixes.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain electrical systems and industrial plant equipment
- Find and diagnose electrical faults, then complete repairs and maintenance
- Deliver preventative maintenance programmes and respond to corrective maintenance needs
- Look for ways to make equipment more reliable
- Help cut production interruptions and downtime
- Work closely with maintenance and production staff and take part in continuous improvement
- Help develop efficient, cost-effective maintenance solutions
- Follow all safety, health and environmental procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current Australian Electrical Licence – essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining or related environments, with practical industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding experience
- A high level of safety awareness
- Able to work well under minimal supervision, with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant qualifications and employment history must be verifiable
- Instrumentation experience will be an advantage
- SAP knowledge will be an advantage
