Electricians with recognised New Zealand Electrical Certification are invited to put their trade record forward for work advertised from Auckland.
The positions can include industrial maintenance, shutdown jobs and project assignments, and the requirements ask for a willingness to work in Queensland or Western Australia, including FIFO shutdowns in Western Australia where they apply. Each candidate is matched on verified credentials, past industry work and the working arrangement they prefer. Applicants requiring visa sponsorship may be considered. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Inspect systems and facilities, diagnose faults and complete the right corrective work
- Read electrical drawings, schematics and technical documents
- Carry out electrical testing and inspections when needed
- Keep job records and compliance paperwork accurate
- Follow each site's electrical procedures and safe work practices
- Work alongside supervisors, project teams and other trades
- Finish maintenance, shutdown and project tasks to the required standard, keeping systems reliable and compliant
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised New Zealand Electrical Certification
- Proven experience as a qualified electrician, with relevant industrial, infrastructure or mining experience
- Proven practical electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills
- A good understanding of electrical safety, compliance and site procedures
- Able to read electrical drawings and technical information
- Willing to work in Queensland or Western Australia
- Willing to take on FIFO shutdown work in Western Australia where applicable
- Australian working rights or eligibility for an Australian work visa
- Candidates must be able to provide evidence of their qualifications and relevant experience
