This is project work for Electricians based out of Brisbane, QLD, on construction and infrastructure jobs in mining, civil and heavy industry. Brisbane may be your main base, travel depends on what each project needs, and the roster is 2:1 FIFO.
You will work beside fitters, plumbers and civil crews on HV and LV cabling, terminations, motors, lighting and fault-finding, while keeping every site safe. Electricians who have worked remote Gulf industrial sites will recognise the rhythm. Sponsorship is available for suitable eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems on remote construction projects
- Run and maintain HV and LV cabling, steel conduits and earthing systems
- Terminate switchboards and MCCs
- Install motors, lighting and power systems
- Find and fix electrical faults
- Support electrical works in mining, civil and heavy industry settings
- Coordinate shared tasks with fitters, plumbers and civil teams
- Adapt to shifting priorities and remote site conditions while keeping safe work practices and quality
- Help projects meet deadlines through reliable teamwork and communication
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold a Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Your verified background covers construction, mining, civil or heavy industry, including safe work on remote or project-based sites
- You carry a current electrical licence that fits the role
- Current First Aid and CPR
- UETDRRF004 – Perform rescue from a live LV panel
- Nationally Recognised Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- You can commit to a 2:1 FIFO roster
- You have handled a wide mix of electrical tasks
- You communicate clearly and work well with a crew
- You stay dependable and adapt easily on site
- Refrigeration tickets highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation advantageous
- Fibre endorsements advantageous
- ACMA accreditation advantageous
- Certificate II in Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Systems advantageous
- You are willing to complete the required pre-employment checks
