Automotive · Hamilton, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
When a tractor or harvester breaks down mid-season, a farmer needs it running again fast. This Hamilton agricultural machinery service business wants a Field Service Technician who can find the fault and fix it, often right there on the farm.
You will service and repair modern tractors and specialist farm machines, track down hydraulic, electrical and electronic problems with diagnostic tools, and explain what you found to farmers and contractors in plain words. Much of the work is done alone in the field, with other technicians to call on for the tricky jobs. Ongoing training is part of the role, and so is an on-call breakdown roster. Sponsorship is available for eligible overseas applicants.
List the tractors and harvesting gear you have repaired, the diagnostic software you use and your diesel or heavy machinery qualification on your CV. Sharpen your farm machinery technician CV with Build AI CV before applying.
