Key Responsibilities
- Carry out formwork carpentry to project specifications
- Handle concrete placement and finishing, and fix reinforcement and steel components
- Support Form, Reo, Pour and related civil construction work
- Use hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely
- Work from drawings and follow supervisor and site management instructions
- Set up work areas, materials and equipment before starting
- Keep quality high and finish tasks within project timeframes
- Follow site safety procedures, spot hazards and report them quickly
- Work well with other trades and crews
- Take on extra civil construction duties as projects require
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant civil construction experience
- Proven practical experience in the nominated construction trade, with previous employment and responsibilities you can show
- Current White Card
- Relevant trade qualifications or tickets where applicable
- Dogman, Working at Heights, Telehandler, CN, C6 or HR tickets are advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices
- Good communication and able to follow site instructions
- Productive both on your own and in a team, with careful attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable with attendance, duties and project deadlines
- Able to work across metropolitan, regional and interstate projects
