Major commercial high-rise projects in Perth need Formwork Carpenters who have learned the trade on real sites. You will build, set and strip formwork for concrete structures, working from plans and drawings and getting every measurement right before the pour.
Different formwork systems are in use, so the ability to switch between them matters. You will check your own work for accuracy and safety, keep to the project schedule and work closely with supervisors, engineers and the other trades on the floor. Builders from Bangladesh who have worked on Gulf towers will know this pace. Candidates with suitably verified skills and substantial experience may be eligible for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, install and strip formwork for concrete structures on commercial high-rise projects
- Work from construction plans, drawings and specifications
- Measure, position and assemble formwork accurately, using the right technique for each system
- Inspect your work for accuracy, quality and safety
- Cooperate with supervisors, engineers and other trades
- Follow site procedures and health and safety rules, keeping work areas safe, organised and compliant
- Stay productive and keep quality high while meeting project schedules
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience working as a Formwork Carpenter, with substantial commercial high-rise construction experience
- Practical knowledge of different formwork systems
- Able to understand and follow construction drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of safe construction practices
- Proven accurate, quality workmanship
- Valid Australian Construction White Card
- Works efficiently in a professional construction team, with reliable attendance and attention to site responsibilities and project requirements
- Able to provide evidence of your claimed trade skills and employment experience
