A well-regarded horticulture business in Sydney looks after premium homes and commercial grounds, and it needs a Garden Maintenance Team Leader who can do the work and guide others through it.
Your crew would look to you for pruning, hedging, weeding, planting and plant health care, and for keeping each property to a high finish. You would plan the day, suggest improvements to clients, run equipment safely and pass on your know-how to juniors and apprentices. Sponsorship opportunities are available for eligible candidates who meet the required experience and qualification criteria.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality garden maintenance on residential and commercial properties
- Carry out pruning, hedging, weeding, planting and plant health care, keeping gardens to a premium standard
- Lead and support the crew so daily work runs efficiently
- Coach junior team members and apprentices in horticulture skills
- Plan and finish assigned tasks within the required timeframes
- Spot garden improvements and recommend suitable maintenance options
- Use and look after gardening equipment safely and well
- Work closely with the team for consistent quality and represent the business professionally with clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience in horticulture, garden maintenance or landscaping
- Relevant horticulture qualification or strong industry experience
- Able to manage garden maintenance tasks confidently on your own
- Experience working in a team and supporting others in a leadership role
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
- A reliable, honest and committed attitude, with excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Able to work with hand tools, machinery and industry equipment
- Current manual driver's licence
