A salon in Whanganui wants an experienced Hair Stylist who can cut and colour with confidence and keep a loyal list of clients happy. You will meet new and returning clients, understand what they want and give honest advice on the result.
Days are busy, with a well-organised appointment book of colour work, cuts and styling, and a clean, professional salon to keep. The team shares ideas, and training and hair education are part of the job, so you will keep learning new techniques and products.

Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience in cutting and colouring
- NZ Level 4 Hairdressing Certificate or internationally recognised equivalent qualification
- Experienced candidates may be considered where formal qualifications differ
- Practical hairdressing skills you can demonstrate, backed by genuine work experience, including confident cutting and colouring
- Strong client consultation and people skills, with the ability to build trust and keep long-term clients
- Professional attitude to customer service and workplace duties, and able to work well in a team
- Willing to keep up ongoing technical and professional development
- Able to provide genuine evidence of qualifications and past employment
