Guests from across New Zealand and overseas stay at this established holiday park, which offers motel rooms, cabins and powered campsites. It is busy, especially over summer, and it is hiring an Assistant Manager for a full-time, hands-on job with plenty of variety.
You will work closely with the management team and learn the different parts of running a holiday park step by step. No management experience is needed: the business will train the right person, and there is a genuine chance to move up into management. Potential work visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out and answer their questions by phone, email and in person
- Look after guests so their stay goes well
- Help manage bookings on online booking platforms and learn about occupancy, pricing and online booking management
- Help with cleaning, maintenance and keeping the property looking good
- Check that rooms, cabins, campsites and facilities are well presented
- Assist with running the swimming pool and hot pools
- Coordinate daily tasks with other team members
- Help with basic admin and office work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Reliable, responsible and willing to learn
- Friendly and confident with guests, and a good communicator
- Organised and able to juggle different tasks
- Practical and happy to get involved
- Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team
- Stays calm and positive when things get busy
- Keen to build a long-term career in hospitality and tourism
- Good English communication skills are required
