Wellington needs HVAC people who can walk into a plant room, find the fault and leave the system running better than before. This full-time HVAC Service Technician role is for experienced professionals with strong practical skills and a dependable approach to service.
Most of your time will go into commercial HVAC projects, where you will service, repair, install and commission air conditioning systems and give customers clear advice. Eligible candidates will be considered for sponsorship support. Bangladeshi technicians who have looked after large cooling systems in Gulf towers and malls will recognise this work.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, maintain, install and commission HVAC systems to a high standard
- Diagnose faults in commercial and light commercial air conditioning systems and solve them quickly to keep downtime low
- Inspect systems and keep HVAC equipment running efficiently
- Write clear service reports, documentation and maintenance records
- Talk with customers professionally and explain technical points simply
- Look after tools, equipment and work vehicles as the company expects
- Work safely and to industry standards, alongside technical teams, to deliver quality service on time
- Take pride in reliable, detailed trade work
Requirements & Eligibility
- An experienced HVAC / Air Conditioning Technician with a strong service background
- A recognised qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience in HVAC servicing and maintenance
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
- Sound understanding of refrigeration systems and technical procedures, with relevant electrical knowledge or licensing highly regarded
- Experience with commercial-scale HVAC equipment is advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Able to work independently and contribute well within a team
- Valid driver's licence
- Verified trade experience and qualifications suitable for international employment
