Large mechanical services projects in Perth need a HVAC Site Manager who has done this before at scale. You would run the site delivery of big design and construct HVAC packages, from defence sites to schools, airports, hotels, data centres and offices.
The job is about control on site. You would lead the mechanical trades and subcontractors, keep the programme on track and check installation quality. You would also read the drawings and specs, sort out technical problems and manage variations. Labour and materials need to be in the right place, and you would work closely with Project Managers, engineers, builders and consultants. The employer wants people with experience gained in Australia, New Zealand or the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Run the full day-to-day delivery of HVAC installation work on site
- Lead and coordinate mechanical trades and subcontractors, organising labour, materials and site resources
- Keep works in line with the agreed construction programme
- Check installation quality and fix defects
- Keep safety and compliance standards high
- Read and apply HVAC drawings, specifications and technical requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, builders, consultants and other stakeholders
- Solve construction, installation and technical problems, and help manage variations and project changes
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 4 years of HVAC or mechanical construction experience gained in Australia, New Zealand or the UK
- Previous work on large commercial HVAC or mechanical services projects
- Tier 1 construction experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation, and experience reading and applying technical drawings and specifications
- A relevant trade or engineering qualification, or extensive industry experience
- Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
