Indian Cuisine Chef
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Mackay, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
Cooks who know their way around a tandoor and a curry pot are wanted in Mackay, Queensland. A busy, well-established hospitality business there has several permanent full-time openings for an Indian Cuisine Chef, covering Indian Curry Chef or Cook, Tandoori Chef or Cook, and Indian Cuisine Sous Chef roles.
The food is authentic and the service is fast, so the team needs people who keep taste, plating and kitchen order steady when the dockets pile up. Many Bangladeshi cooks build exactly these skills in restaurant kitchens at home and in the Gulf. Sponsorship is available for suitably qualified overseas applicants who meet Australian visa requirements, and the skills assessment and English test conditions are listed below.
On your CV, name the regional dishes you cook, the breads you turn out of the tandoor and the size of the kitchens you have worked in. You can put your tandoor and curry kitchen CV together on Build AI CV before you apply.
