Gardens that look good all year need steady, skilled hands. A mixed Auckland outfit that includes landscape architects, builders, horticulturists and project managers is hiring a passionate, experienced Landscape Gardener, and it wants clients to feel well served from the first chat to the finished garden.
Your days are spent in clients' gardens alongside your crew, setting the standard for the rest of the team. The main role is full time at 40 hours a week, though part-time and casual options also exist. The business is an accredited employer and can sponsor the right candidate. This role is open to applicants already in New Zealand with the right to work there.

Key Responsibilities
- Mow and care for lawns, prune, weed, plant and trim to a high standard, setting the example and looking after clients
- Run and maintain different landscaping machines
- Handle chainsaws, lawn mowers, hedge and line trimmers, power washers and building tools
- Keep clients and teammates informed and deal with what they need
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2 years or more in landscape gardening, ideally including hard landscaping work
- Horticultural qualification
- Outstanding horticultural know-how and a real love of plants
- An excellent communicator who is comfortable speaking with clients
- Works well with a crew or alone, takes direction and hits deadlines
- Full driver's licence for manual and automatic vehicles (manual training can be given if needed)
- Puts health and safety first, notices detail and shows plenty of initiative
- Physically fit for active outdoor work
- The right to work in NZ
