Commercial landscapes start with good groundwork. A professional team in Darwin wants a skilled Landscaper for ongoing landscape construction projects across the Northern Territory.
You would prepare and excavate sites, set out and level bases, and install drainage and irrigation. Then comes the visible part: paving, edging, small concrete pieces, retaining walls, turf, plants and mulch. Plant and machinery are part of the day, and safe, careful work matters on every commercial site. The team is looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term job.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site preparation, excavation and groundworks
- Set out, level and prepare bases accurately
- Lay turf and install plants, mulch and other soft landscape features
- Build paving, edging, minor concrete elements, retaining walls and other landscape structures
- Install drainage and irrigation systems
- Operate plant, machinery and landscaping equipment safely
- Take on general commercial landscape construction tasks with steady quality and attention to detail
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and tidy
- Follow work health and safety procedures at all times and keep professional standards on every commercial worksite
- Work efficiently to meet project schedules and construction targets
- Communicate well with supervisors and teammates, working alone when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience in landscape construction
- Strong practical knowledge of commercial landscaping processes, with genuine hands-on landscaping experience you can demonstrate
- Relevant formal landscaping qualification advantageous
- A reliable, punctual and committed approach to work, and a strong focus on workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Current full driver's licence essential
- Own reliable transport essential
- MR driver's licence advantageous
- Current White Card essential
- Permanent Australian work rights preferred
- Temporary residents need not apply
- Working with Children Card (OCHRE) or willingness to obtain
- DCAC for Robertson Barracks advantageous
- Physically capable of outdoor landscape construction work, and able to work in a team or on your own
- Willing to commit to a stable, long-term position
