Maintenance Fitter
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Perth, WA, Australia · Full-Time · $57/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
A stopped line in a fast-moving food factory means lost output, so this Perth plant wants a qualified Maintenance Fitter who heads off breakdowns before they start and fixes them fast when they do.
Planned servicing on production machinery and fixed plant is the backbone of the job, alongside quick response to failures. Expect daily hands-on work with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, bearings and pneumatic gear. You would also chase down recurring faults, support changeovers and upgrades, and log your work properly. Shifts rotate between days and afternoons.
Sponsorship is available for suitably qualified candidates who meet employer and visa requirements.
Your CV should name your mechanical trade certificate, the machines and lines you have looked after and any factory work in the Gulf or at home. You can tidy up your Perth maintenance fitter CV with Build AI CV before applying.
