Maintenance Foreperson
Visa sponsorship
Construction · Blenheim, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Roads do not wait for office hours. A road maintenance operation in Blenheim, New Zealand, needs a Maintenance Foreperson to run a small crew and keep a demanding network safe.
You would plan each day's work, inspect roads for defects and hazards, decide on repairs and log what you find on GPS and tablet systems. When something urgent happens, such as a night-time incident or animals on the road, you are on the call-out roster and respond. You also check crew and contractor work, follow traffic management and safety rules, and keep clients and other teams informed.
Sponsorship is available for suitable international candidates.
Put your roading supervision history, the crews you led, any AWM or RAMM work and your driver's licence class on your CV. If you supervised highway maintenance in the Gulf, describe that work clearly. You can build a roading foreperson CV for Blenheim on Build AI CV.
