A Brisbane workshop is hiring mechanics and apprentices and cares more about what you can do than where you trained. First or second year apprentices, people in a Job Ready Program and fully qualified mechanics can all apply.
The work is everyday workshop work done well. You would service vehicles and carry out maintenance, repair and replace parts, inspect cars and track down faults with the right diagnostic gear. You would then recommend the fix and get it done to a high standard, safely, on your own or with the team. The workshop wants people who keep learning.
Overseas applicants with relevant automotive experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Do mechanical repairs and replace worn components
- Inspect vehicles, check their condition and find faults with the right testing methods and diagnostic equipment
- Work out what repairs are needed and recommend the best fix
- Finish repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Use workshop tools and equipment safely, following workshop procedures
- Work well on your own and with others, keeping professional standards on every job
- Keep building your technical knowledge and hands-on skills
Requirements & Eligibility
- An Automotive Mechanic, Apprentice Mechanic or relevant automotive background
- 1st Year and 2nd Year Apprentices are encouraged to apply, and Experienced and Qualified Mechanics are welcome to apply
- Candidates completing a Job Ready Program may be considered
- Proven hands-on experience in servicing and mechanical repairs
- Experience in automotive diagnostics and fault finding is advantageous
- Able to show real, practical automotive skills
- Reliable, punctual and accountable

- Committed to quality work and safe practices
- Able to work alone and add to a team
