Do you hold both plumbing and gasfitting tickets? An established business in Wellington is growing and wants a qualified Plumber and Gasfitter for a varied mix of work.
You would install and repair plumbing and fit and service gas appliances and lines. You would also take on maintenance and fault-finding calls, with commercial jobs when they come up. Each task starts with working out what is needed, then following the plans and specs and finishing to a safe, high standard. The team is friendly and experienced, and customers and other trades will deal with you directly.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair plumbing
- Install and service gas fittings
- Handle maintenance and fault finding, including commercial plumbing work when required
- Assess each job and choose the right solution using plans, specifications and technical requirements
- Make sure finished work meets quality and safety standards
- Work with other trades and team members and speak professionally with customers and stakeholders
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas in good order
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised plumbing qualification
- A recognised gasfitting qualification
- Relevant hands-on industry experience, with strong knowledge of plumbing systems and gasfitting practice
- Commercial experience preferred
- Able to work alone and in a team
- Dependable and professional, with strong workmanship and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service
