For probashi nurses with aged care experience, here is a permanent full-time Registered Nurse role in Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia.
You would work at a residential aged care home run by a not-for-profit provider on the New South Wales North Coast. Shifts change between mornings, afternoons and nights. You would report to the Care Manager.
The job joins two things. You give skilled clinical care to older residents, and you lead the shift by guiding and supervising the care workers. You also build respectful, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
The employer offers initial 482 sponsorship, with pathways to permanent residency for eligible applicants. The 482 is a work visa that an employer supports.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after residents with clinical care that follows best-practice standards
- Lead the shift and give coaching, supervision and guidance to care workers
- Build trust with residents and their families
- Use clinical judgement to see and respond to changes in residents' needs
- Support a safe, positive and inclusive home and follow clinical, safety and organisational policies and procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration, current, and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in nursing, ideally including aged care
- Knowledge of aged care legislation and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- An understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge of ageing and the health conditions of older age
- Confidence to coach, mentor and support care staff, with strong communication, conflict-resolution and emotional-intelligence skills
- A positive, collaborative approach and competent IT skills
