As the RN, you lead care for the residents, give medicines, write care plans and support the care workers. Good records and calm action in an emergency are part of the job.
Eligible applicants who are already residing in Australia may get sponsorship support, including potential Subclass 407 or 485-related pathways, subject to individual eligibility and immigration requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead nursing care that suits each resident, including giving medications and watching health and wellbeing
- Write, follow and review individualised care plans
- Support and supervise care workers to keep care standards high
- Keep clinical records accurate and speak clearly with residents, families and other healthcare staff
- Follow the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical policies, and join quality improvement and clinical reviews
- Respond calmly and quickly to changes in condition and medical emergencies, and keep learning through continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse, registered with AHPRA (current)
- Six months' aged care work as an RN, as a minimum
- Speaks clearly and confidently (strong verbal skills)
- Writes clearly (strong written skills)
- Understands AN-ACC funding and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Uses computers at an intermediate level and is at ease with clinical documentation systems
- Holds a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- Has a current National Criminal History Check
- Holds a valid Queensland driver's licence
