Its teams look after people in their own homes, serve Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) clients, and fill nursing shifts in hospitals and residential aged care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out nursing assessments that follow accepted nursing practice and standards
- Plan each person's nursing care, put the plan into action and evaluate the results
- Talk cases through with other health professionals
- Coordinate patient care as a member of a healthcare team
- Give the treatments, medications and therapies listed in care plans and monitor them
- Lead activities that promote good health and join in patient education
- Supervise Enrolled Nurses and other healthcare workers and coordinate their work
- Keep healthcare records and documentation accurate
- Make sure work in home care, aged care, hospitals and community nursing meets current clinical standards
- Follow Work Health and Safety legislation, keep infection control standards in place and promptly report any hazards or incidents
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration that is current
- A nursing qualification relevant to a Registered Nurse
- Experience in both home care and community nursing
- Minimum one year's full-time relevant experience
- Current National Criminal History Check and current Working with Children Check
- Current Manual Handling Certificate, plus an Infection Control certificate
- Valid driver's licence, with current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
