Rope Access Technician

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $36.50/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Many probashi workers know rope access from big building projects. Now a New Zealand company that has maintained commercial property for over 20 years has five permanent, full-time Rope Access Technician jobs open.

This job moves between two places, greater Auckland and Christchurch, depending on the workload. That means regular travel, staying overnight away from home, and once in a while a short trip to another region.

You are contracted for a minimum of 70 hours a fortnight; a fortnight means two weeks. Most weeks have 40 hours. Days are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and nights are 6pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday. The roster comes about a week before the work. The company gives industry training and the chance to reach further IRATA levels.

Because it is an accredited employer, the company can sponsor a visa for the right worker, and it invites IRATA-qualified abseilers who are abroad today to get in touch.

Keep your CV honest and clear, with your IRATA level, logged rope hours and first aid units. Prepare your rope access CV for New Zealand work.
