Good stylists build loyal clients one chair at a time. A respected salon group in Brisbane wants a Senior Stylist with strong skills in cutting, colour and styling, who also enjoys helping juniors grow.
Each client starts with a proper consultation, then a look made for them. You would recommend services and professional products, keep up with new trends and techniques, and join training and workshops. Salon presentation and hygiene matter here, and so does a friendly, team-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality cutting, colouring and styling
- Consult each client about what they want and suggest suitable services and products
- Create personal looks while keeping technical standards high
- Give every client a professional, memorable visit and build strong relationships with new and returning clients
- Use professional haircare products, tools and equipment with confidence
- Stay current with new hair trends, techniques and industry practice through training, workshops and ongoing development
- Keep the salon well presented and hygienic
- Work as part of the stylist team, sharing knowledge and guiding junior members
- Help create a positive, productive salon culture centred on clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised hairdressing qualification
- Proven experience as a Senior Stylist or in an equivalent senior-level position, with a demonstrated history of professional salon employment
- Strong practical skills in cutting, colouring and styling
- Able to provide evidence of relevant qualifications and industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach to client service
- Able to work independently and also contribute well to a team
- Passion for hairdressing, with a commitment to high-quality results and to ongoing learning and skills development
- Willing to mentor and support developing stylists
