A specialist ground engineering company in Sydney has a permanent full-time place for a senior Shotcreter. You will spray concrete for ground support and stabilisation work, side by side with experienced anchoring and drilling crews.
The job asks for someone who can run shotcrete rigs well, apply a consistent finish to specification and read changing ground and weather on site. You will take charge of daily shotcrete activity on your projects, look after the equipment, help newer crew members build their skills and keep safety front of mind.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate shotcrete machinery and equipment on specialist ground support jobs
- Prepare surfaces and spray shotcrete to project specifications, using the right mixing and spraying techniques
- Work with anchoring and drilling crews on ground engineering tasks
- Lead day-to-day shotcrete work on the projects you are assigned
- Keep application quality and workmanship consistent
- Help team members develop their practical skills and build a strong safety culture
- Check equipment condition and do routine maintenance
- Adapt to changing site and environmental conditions while following project safety, quality and operating procedures
- Cooperate with supervisors, operators and other site staff to deliver projects efficiently
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Shotcreter, including operating shotcrete machinery and related equipment
- Strong practical knowledge of shotcrete application and concrete mixing
- Background in ground engineering, ground support or related construction work
- Able to demonstrate and verify your previous employment and technical experience
- Works well with anchoring and drilling teams and as part of a wider crew
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
- Nationally accredited OHS Card / White Card or equivalent
- Full driving licence and your own reliable transport
- MR licence for line pump operations where applicable
- Able to work in demanding site and environmental conditions
- Able to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Relevant Australian work rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored employment
