Station Mechanic
Visa sponsorship
Automotive · Broome, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
Out on a remote cattle station, a broken vehicle can stop the day's work, so a pastoral company running several stations in northern Western Australia needs two skilled, experienced mechanics to keep its vehicles, trucks, motorbikes and machinery going. The job comes with the unique lifestyle of a working cattle station.
The weather up north is extreme, so heat and humidity must not slow you down. Occasional alcohol and drug tests can be carried out, and intoxication is not tolerated at all. Sponsorship is available for skilled, eligible applicants who meet the listed criteria, and the company wants people ready to stay for the long term.
If you kept diesel plant running in Gulf camps, you already know remote work; show it on your CV with your heavy vehicle trade papers, the diagnostic gear you use and your field repairs, and draft a remote station-mechanic CV on Build AI CV.
