Structural Steel Boilermaker

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Good welds and accurate fitting are what this job is about. A project-based steel operation in Sydney needs a Structural Steel Boilermaker for fabrication and MIG welding work.

You would read engineering drawings, then measure, mark, cut and prepare steel before fitting and assembling the sections. Welds are checked against project specifications, and finished pieces are inspected for accuracy. You keep your area clean and free of hazards, wear the right PPE, report defects or material problems early and work with other trades to hit production deadlines. Shifts run Monday to Friday, and the start is immediate.

Visa sponsorship is available for the right applicant.

Show your trade certificate, MIG welding history, White Card and any EWP, heights or forklift tickets on your CV. Steel fabricators with shipyard or Gulf project work should name those sites. You can line up a MIG-welding boilermaker CV on Build AI CV.
