Telecommunications Field Engineer
Visa sponsorship
Engineering · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
Mobile networks are built one tower and one link at a time, and this Brisbane-based role puts you right in that work. An established infrastructure contractor delivering network projects for major carriers around Australia needs a Telecommunications Field Engineer with real RF and transmission experience.
Your days would move between integration, commissioning and testing: fitting antennas, radios, microwave links and cabinets, helping with tower upgrades, then writing up the records carriers need before they accept a site. Projects run in cities, regional towns and remote areas, so frequent travel comes with the job. Employer sponsorship is on offer for suitably qualified overseas applicants who meet Australian migration requirements.
Engineers who have worked on tower rollouts in the Gulf or Malaysia should list their rigging ticket, heights and EWP cards and the radio equipment they have commissioned. build a tower-ready field engineer CV on Build AI CV so those details stand out.
