Tyres, brakes and clutches keep cars on the road, and this job covers all three. An established automotive aftermarket business in Sydney is looking for a Tyre Fitter and Mechanic who enjoys practical work and wants to stay for the long run.
Workshop time goes on fitting tyres, aligning wheels, repairing and servicing brakes and clutches, and machining discs, drums and flywheels. Away from the hoist, you receive, check and send out stock, put parts away in the right places, help the sales team and do deliveries when needed. You will often work on your own, so clear communication with the rest of the team matters.
On your CV, list the tyre and brake work you have done, the alignment machines you have used and your driver's licence. If you spent years in a Gulf or Malaysian tyre shop, name it and the vehicles you handled. You can pull together a Sydney tyre and brake mechanic CV on Build AI CV.
