A permanent underground electrical role is open at an established mining operation in Western Australia. You can choose to live near the mine as a residential employee or fly in and fly out from Perth.
The work runs on a 7/7 or 2/2 roster with 12-hour shifts. Underground, you will keep electrical equipment and systems safe and reliable: planned maintenance, breakdown call-outs, testing, inspections and fault finding, with isolations done by the book. You will work closely with other trades and production crews and help improve how the gear performs. Eligible overseas applicants requiring visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems underground
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns and operating problems
- Inspect, test and diagnose electrical faults, then repair them properly
- Keep electrical systems and equipment running safely and reliably
- Support underground production and maintenance work
- Follow site electrical procedures and safety rules, including isolation and electrical safety processes
- Keep accurate maintenance records and paperwork
- Work well with other trades and operations staff
- Help drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability
Requirements & Eligibility
- An Australian-recognised electrical trade qualification
- Current A Grade Western Australian Electrical Licence
- At least 3 years' experience in the electrical industry
- Mining experience desirable, with underground mining experience advantageous
- Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
- HV Switching ticket desirable
- Working at Heights certification desirable
- High Risk Work Licence desirable
- Strong safety awareness and a professional work ethic
- Able to work 12-hour shifts
- Willing to work a 7/7 or 2/2 roster
