A growing Brisbane hospitality business needs a Venue Manager who leads from the floor, not from the office. On busy nights you would be in the middle of service, keeping the team calm and guests happy.
Away from service, you would build the team. That means hiring and onboarding, training and coaching, and writing rosters that cover every shift. You would also handle stock and ordering, keep the venue clean and well presented, sort out guest complaints and keep an eye on sales and costs. Safety and food safety rules come first.
Eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship, where applicable.

Key Responsibilities
- Work hands-on through busy service periods
- Lead and motivate staff into a capable, engaged hospitality team
- Onboard, train, coach and develop staff
- Plan rosters and staffing so the venue runs smoothly
- Look after stock, ordering and inventory
- Keep the venue clean, well presented and organised
- Handle guest complaints professionally with practical solutions

Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant or venue management
- Proven ability to lead and grow a hospitality team
- Experience running the operations of a busy venue, staying organised and effective when it is busy
- Strong communication and people skills
- A confident, hands-on leadership style
- Experience with rostering, staff coordination and inventory control
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Able to contribute to sales and operational targets
